David Cantin is a 2029 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Ranney. Lean, slender frame with a high waist and plenty of room to add strength. Ran a 7.54 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder that incorporates anticipatory actions into the fielding process. Fields properly off his front foot, gathers cleanly and transitions into release with well-maintained momentum. Produced fairly accurate throws up to 76 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open base with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Simple line drive strokes with some present hand speed and middle-of-the field approach. Consistently on the barrel with projection for additional impact potential as he physically matures. Named to the 2024 13U Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival.
